Turn your passion into professional? Join Dive Degree's PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a Mentor Instructor, you’ll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist Instructors with student divers.

What can DMs Do?
  • Work at local dive centers, on live-on-board dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations

  • Assist PADI Instructors with students in training

  • Lead PADI Scuba Divers on guided dive tours

  • Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers

  • Teach PADI Discover Snorkeling programs

  • Conduct PADI Scuba Review programs for certified divers

  • Lead certified divers on Discover Local Diving experiences

  • Teach Emergency First Response programs after successful completion of an Emergency First Response Instructor course.

What You Can Expect
  • Learn dive leadership through classroom and independent study sessions

  • Complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water

 

  • Practical application exercises to test organizational and problem solving abilities

  • Assessment assisting with courses of all levels and supervising certified divers

 

General Diving Skills/Knowledge Development:

Course Requirements
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent

  • PADI Rescue Diver certification or equivalent

 

  • A current Emergency First Response certification

 

  • Be in good physical condition for diving and submit medical clearance signed by a physician

 

  • Have logged a minimum of 40 open water dives prior to entry into PADI Dive master training, and completed and logged a minimum of 60 open water dives with experience in night, deep and navigation prior to certification as a PADI Divemaster.

 

  • At least 18 years old

Course Includes

In the PADI Divemaster programme, there will be:

  • 02 x Pool Session for Skill (Practical)

  • 02 x Classroom session for Knowledge (Theory)

 

Course Duration: The Divemaster course can take quite a while to do in Singapore as many people can only commit to weekends. At DiveDegree we feel that professional level training should not be hurried. A Divemaster course with us would probably take at least 2 months.

  • Classroom sessions

  • 2 Pool sessions (Stamina / Rescue Assessment)

  • Unlimited Pool internships

  • Unlimited Weekend dive trips for on-job training
