Anilao is known around the world for its beautiful crystal clear waters, warm white sand beaches and excellent diving conditions. Strategically located in Mabini, Batangas, only 2-3 hours drive from Metro Manila, Anilao is known to be home to the beginnings of majority of the diving population of the Philippines.

There are more than 40 known dive sites in Anilao and each is just 5 minutes away from each other. There is a wide variety of choices if you plan on diving in Anilao, as it caters to beginners, novices and professional divers. There are thousands of species of plants and animals that are unique to Anilao, ranging from the big pelagic fishes to the various coral species. Those who like bigger animals will find that Anilao has no shortage of sharks, rays, and other good-sized schooling fish like trivially barracuda. It is also not unlikely to spot the occasional whale shark or other bigger animals while diving.

Located right in the middle of the coral triangle, Anilao boasts of some of the widest diversity of coral life such as brain, table and staghorn, mixed with an array of soft corals, large sponges and gorgonian fans. Lastly, for those with a keen eye and a love for critter photography, Anilao visibility is good and the opportunities for photography are excellent.

As the Philippines is strategically at the equator, sunny skies abound the November to June months. The rainy season is from July to October yet diving during any period throughout the year is possible as you will be able to experience an abundance of various sea creatures any time of year. The temperature at the area ranges from 24°C to 32°C.

CURRENCY


 

The official currency of Anilao and of the Philippines in general is the Philippine peso. Most establishments only accept their local currency especially if these are low scale or in barangays and municipalities. Because of this it is best to have your cash changed at the airport or at the hotel you are staying at if currency exchange is available. Acceptance of foreign currencies, either US dollar of the Euro, is only limited to particular resorts, restaurants and hotels In the area.

GETTING THERE
& AROUND
 

4 hours from Singapore to Manila, Philippines by plane, followed by a three-hour drive to the resort.

 

Mactan Cebu International Airport in Cebu has a regular international flight service to/from Singapore with Cebu Pacific Air.

Alternatively, you may consider SilkAir, which will incur an additional night stay at the resort (extra charges).

  • 50% payment must be made to secure booking. Balance of payment to be made 1 month prior to trip

  • For cancellation made more than 1 month prior to trip, 50% of trip cost. For that less than one month, full payment

  • To enjoy promotional rate, full payment required to secure the rates on a first come first serve basis (non-refundable). Package to be redeemed within 3 months upon payment date. If unable to do so, a top up of SGD100/pax is required

  • Please ensure that you bring along your International passport with a minimum of 6 mths validity
